Located on Native Tribal Land in coastal Northern California, NGEV consists of seven 30'x100' luminated polyethylene-tarp covered greenhouses. After operating for only three seasons per year since 2016 using soil-beds, this farm was successfully converted into a year-round hydroponic greenhouse facility in 2022 and is now capable of producing at least 26 harvests per year.
Each greenhouse is now equipped with 5x rolling tables, 30x HPS DE 1000W lights, 5x Quest Dual 155 pint dehumidifiers, 5x 14gpm Dosatrons, 15x 8in oscillating fans, 2x 10ft rear exhaust fans, and heated by propane set to a thermostat. For 18 months I led teams ranging from 5-14 members to complete the infrastructure redesign as well as establish cloning, transplanting and harvesting schedules every 14 days to achieve 26 harvest every 12 months.

Created an OMRI IPM program to completely eliminate all mold pathogens. Historically, from 2018-2022, almost every harvest on this farm was contaminated and could only be used for solvent extraction products.

Organics Alive, established 2004, based in San Diego, CA is an award-winning recognized leader within the organic farmers community. As a team of cultivators and scientists, they have a unique complimentary set of skills to help drive each process of the business model.
Product and system development are integral to brand growth and maintaining competitive advantages during both bull and bear markets for all crops. Compared to synthetics, organic fertilizers can be a healthier, tastier and more environmentally conscious long-term resource for cultivators, but often times at an overhead cost of up to 3x more expensive. Many of the commonly used organic products have also been known to create bio-film sludge in irrigation systems, which either needs to be cleaned out regularly or even often entirely replaced each cycle in the case of emitter drip systems.
The objectives of this project are to research and develop innovative ways to refine commercial organic hydroponic cultivation systems using alternative stock-tank recipes and advanced fertigation strategies. Factors such as, but not limited to, plant growth rates, health, yields, as well as fertilizer compatibility with commercial irrigation systems and overhead costs, are all being considered in these tests. All four growth stages (moms, clones, veg, flower) are being recorded and analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis.

A complete cultivators guide of proven SOPs and precise feeding charts will be created with this data by Kneu Cannabinoids. This is an active project and information such as the hypothesis details, isolated variables and complete results of the trials will be confidential and not released publicly until 2025.
Since launching in 2017, Athena AG quickly became the premier hydroponic fertilizer brand, with a focus on developing "game-changing" products and solutions that help cultivators consistently reach ultimate results in the garden. To separate itself from other brands, the company formed a dedicated internal RnD team that is brilliantly paired with an extensive network of the hydroponics industry's most distinguished craft and commercial facilities. The data obtained from these teams and projects is used in a variety of ways as part of a much larger process for progressive product and system development.
Standard Operating Procedures are fundamental resources to successfully scale models while maintaining consistent quality production and results. The objective of this project was focused on identifying, documenting, writing and designing the most comprehensive, research and development based SOP cultivators guide, modeled after all of the strategies and techniques used by the Jungle Boys, an iconic legacy cannabis brand established in Los Angeles, CA.

Led the inaugural team of cultivators, photographers, art directors, and marketing managers. Assumed responsibility for all original content direction and project management. Organized interviews and photoshoots with the Lead Cultivators of the Jungle Boys as well as the Athena Art Director and RnD team. Wrote all of the SOPs and co-directed the presentation design plus social media posts. Added one new RnD member to the Athena team.
Originally contracted for 3 months, but I worked passed that timeline for 6 additional weeks without a contract because this was such a rare opportunity and unique experience to collaborate with some of the best minds in the hydroponic industry.
Barter Mtn Ranch in Willow Creek, CA, established 2003, owned and operated by perma-culturalist Travis Barter, proves to be a beautiful example of sustainable and regenerative organic farming practices. Spanning over 80 acres, this is a magnificent north-facing mountain side ranch on the far east of Humboldt County, approximately 45 miles from the Pacific coastline. The ranch offers sun grown seasonal fruits, vegetables, herbs and cannabis, there are also goats for packing and producing milk products. From 2017-2002 Dutch Shephard x Belgian Malinois puppies were also bred on the ranch. During a phase of business model growth in a competitive market, BMR invested in a branding project and strategy consultation study.
I have dedicated over a decade to being focused on commercial cultivation plans and systems, primarily concerned with: irrigation design, fertilizer recipes, environmental factors, plant health, the efficacy of organic pest and pathogen treatments, crop quality control and creating specific standard operating procedures. Studying the permaculture practices at Barter Mtn Ranch was a great learning experience as much as it was a rewarding feeling to contribute to the project success.

Located just one block away from Madison Square Garden in Mid-Town Manhattan, American Whiskey has prime location for attracting sports fans, event ticket holders, tourists and a local after-work crowd. With more than 150 different whiskey selections, the venue naturally gained the recognition and appeasement of patrons, becoming a well-established brand in New York City over the last 10 years. As a part of the Paige Group network, I was honored to have the opportunity and pleasure of being the designer selected to create all of the brand assets, including logo, menus, signage, advertising, marketing and web.
Founded in 2007, operating one location in the West End, Paige rapidly grow into 8 venues, earning a distinguished reputation for being one of the preeminent operations and hospitality brands in New York City. Specializing in atmospheres of exquisite interior design paired with fine dining and classic bar cuisine served with cocktails and craft beers, Paige attracts high-spending lifestyle professionals from all industries. Their veteran team of event planners is dedicated to supporting both private and corporate upscale productions at The Ainsworth, Ainsworth Park, Ainsworth Las Vegas The Hard Rock, 121 Fulton Street, The Hill, Southampton Social Club and The Chester. Additionally, the men’s fashion brand Windsor Custom operates as a strategic partner that provides a distinguished dining and clothes-fitting blended experience. After each of these brands was founded and operational, the Paige Group implemented a dedicated growth strategy which included several creative identity, advertising and marketing design projects that I led during a 9 month period to generate more brand awareness.
An award-winning creative agency based in Portland, OR with additional studios in NYC and London, SET designs one-of-a-kind digital experiences of interactive displays within transformed physical environments. During a period of business development growth and operations scaling to meet international demand and opportunity, the Creative Director emphasized a need for Style Guides, Pitch Decks, Client Case Studies and an Internal file sharing platform, all of which I was contracted to work on as a Freelance Designer based at the NYC office.
As a Freelance Designer and Project Manager, I've been blessed to be a part of several talented agency team projects that are tasked with creating digital assets for corporate clients, including major automotive brands such as Toyota, Volkwagon, Lincoln and Audi.
Since launching in 2014 as a cannabis lifestyle themed streetwear clothing line, Kneu is now a full service creative and cultivation consulting company registered in Humboldt County, CA. The brand logo wordmark has been updated once in ten years, to a modified custom script version of the original bold-italic typeface. All designs are done in-house for advertising assets, apparel and packaging. Teams of photographers, artists, musicians and athletes are selected for each photoshoot. Production projects include scouting locations, styling shoots, casting talent, editing content managing vendor relations, sourcing materials and managing a budget. Commercial licensed clients are provided cultivation services in areas of irrigation, plant nutrition, fertilizers, IPM, SOPs, RnD and facility layout.
Growing up as a Red Sox fan, it was a historical time of events and there were a memorable set of championship winning teams assembled between 2004-2007. The city of Boston was celebrating its first World Series title since 1918. This street art campaign was done to symbolize a one-of-a-kind time period of passion and excitement which was fueled by the dynamic and mutually recognized energy that team, fans and city all shared for each other.
